Worker Recruitment Services

At New Zealife, our Recruitment Services go far beyond simply connecting workers with jobs. We are committed to ensuring the right people are placed in the right roles – through a process that is professional, transparent, and supportive from start to finish.

I. What Makes Our Recruitment Different

We don’t just recruit – we train and support international workers to meet the specific needs of key industries in New Zealand, including meat processing, seafood, and agriculture. Our recruitment process ensures that each candidate is:

  • Skilled, healthy, disciplined, and ethical

  • Professionally trained by top-tier institutions (for specific skilled industries)

  • Ready to integrate into New Zealand’s work culture and meet strict standards for safety and quality

II. Our Recruitment Process

1. Sourcing Candidates

This is our initial screening stage, where we search for the most suitable candidates based on:

    • Prior work experience (if any)
    • Physical and mental fitness
    • Basic English communication skills
    • Motivation and long-term commitment
    • Positive attitude and determination to work abroad

2. Consultation Sessions

To help candidates fully understand the job, the recruitment process, and the sponsoring employer, we conduct both online and offline consultation sessions. These sessions are transparent and informative, covering:

    • Introduction to New Zealife and our sponsoring partners
    • Clear explanation of the process, costs, and salary expectations
    • Benefits and challenges of working abroad
    • Q&A to address candidate concerns

3. Screening & Interviewing

Candidates undergo a two-stage interview process:

    • Background and criminal record checks to ensure compliance and suitability
    • Initial interview with New Zealife’s recruitment team (online or in-person)
    • Coaching and preparation before employer interviews
    • Final interview with the New Zealand employer

4. Pre-departure Training

Selected candidates will receive:

    • Job-specific vocational training and certifications (where applicable)
    • English language training to improve communication
    • Orientation on New Zealand’s work culture, labor laws, and daily life

5. Visa Application Support

Our dedicated team – including licensed immigration advisers – will fully support candidates through the AEWV (Accredited Employer Work Visa) application process, ensuring:

    • Full compliance with Immigration New Zealand regulations
    • Transparent and honest disclosure of service fees
    • Accurate documentation and timely submission

6. Post-Arrival Support in New Zealand

Our support doesn’t stop at the airport. Once workers arrive in New Zealand, we provide:

    • Airport pickup
    • Assistance with opening a bank account and obtaining an IRD number
    • Help with finding accommodation
    • Ongoing check-ins and support throughout their employment and settlement
    • Matching workers to roles that suit their qualifications and the sponsor’s needs

III. Our Commitment to Employers

  • Transparent and ethical recruitment processes

  • Zero tolerance for exploitation or forced labor

  • On-time delivery of suitable, job-ready workers

  • Replacement guarantee if a candidate is not a good fit

IV. Our Commitment to Workers

  • Full access to clear and honest information about job offers and rights

  • No hidden costs – all fees are communicated openly

  • End-to-end support during your journey and stay in New Zealand
